Training: Talson Solutions LLC conducted an intensive two-day capital program audit training session specific to client’s project management process and risk management needs. The training focused on internal management policies and procedures for major capital projects covering contractor and vendor audit processes used to identify project “red flags,” reduce financial and reporting risk and areas of cost recovery. It included “lessons learned” from previous upstream and downstream projects and key management control points.

Audit Planning: Talson conducted an independent assessment of a client’s internal audit work program for completeness and to identify new audit steps to focus on internal and external risk for large multi-year oil and gas development projects. Talson was engaged to review an international project audit plan as proposed by a client’s subsidiary.
