Cost Recovery: Talson Solutions LLC conducted contract close-out audits and identified cost recovery opportunities for new construction, classroom renovation and infrastructure upgrade projects.

Capital Program Risk Assessment: Talson evaluated the client’s capital program development and construction processes in anticipation of capital expenditures in excess of $500 million. We assessed the financial reporting project controls construction monitoring and contract development needs for capital program growth. Upon Talson’s initial assessment, we developed project specific policies and procedures incorporating existing institution policies.

Contract Audit and Compliance: Talson conducted a compliance review of procurement practices and related procedures for the selection of trade subcontractors as performed by the university’s third-party out-sourced capital program manager

Owner’s Representation: Talson served as the owner’s representative during a charter school’s renovation of an unused 50,000 square feet facility to accommodate student enrollment growth.
